Random 42 provides tools for random selection, grouping, assignment, ordering, raffles, and dice rolls. The tools are intended for everyday tasks and recreation. They do not replace professional judgment, a regulated selection process, or a certified drawing system.

How the tools work

Each tool produces a result from the entries, settings, and rules you provide. Some tools can use weights, avoid recent repeats, create groups of similar sizes, or follow other rules shown on the page.

Limits of random results
