Put review topics, stations, or warm-ups on a projected wheel so the available choices stay visible before the spin.
Turn a list of text options into a visible decision wheel. Adjust the weights, check the slice labels, and spin when everyone is ready.
Paste up to 50 complete choices, one per line. Then adjust any odds below and spin from the center.
6 available for the next spin · 0 set aside
The wheel animation only reveals the selected result; it does not influence the draw.
A wheel spinner is a random-choice tool that maps each option to a visible slice and animates toward a result that has already been selected by the tool.
Visible decisions
Put review topics, stations, or warm-ups on a projected wheel so the available choices stay visible before the spin.
Use names, challenges, or teams as slices and remove a selected option when the next round should use the remaining set.
Give an option more or less space only when that weighting is intentional, then show the proportions to everyone involved.
Instructions
Enter one option per line. Longer names wrap when the slice has enough room, while distinct labels keep the result easy to identify.
Keep equal weights for an even choice, or change them deliberately and verify the visible slice proportions before spinning.
Decide whether a result stays available, is removed from later spins, or can be selected again.
Start the spin, let the animation reveal the precomputed choice, and choose Present when the wheel needs to be seen across a room.
Troubleshooting
When: Blank lines or removed entries leave zero or one active option.
Why: A spin cannot express a choice unless at least two distinct options remain.
Try: Add another option or restore a removed entry before spinning again.
When: An option has a negative, nonnumeric, or unusable weight.
Why: Invalid weights cannot be converted into reliable probabilities, while a zero-weight option can never win.
Try: Use positive numeric weights and review every slice before the next spin.
When: The wheel has many options, or several option names are long.
Why: Longer labels wrap when space permits, but narrow slices leave less room for readable text.
Try: Shorten repeated wording, use a distinct label, or split a large list across smaller wheels.
Trust
The tool selects a result first, and the wheel animation only travels to that already-computed result.
Your options, weights, and results are used for the current wheel and are not saved by Random 42.
Boundaries
This wheel is not a verified raffle service, a legal decision process, or evidence that a weighted choice was appropriate.
FAQ
Only when every active option has the same positive weight. If weights differ, the chance of each option follows the visible weighting.
No. Random 42 computes the choice first and then animates the wheel toward that result, so frame rate and animation timing do not pick the winner.
Yes. Remove the selected option after a spin when the next result should come only from the remaining entries.
Long labels wrap onto multiple lines when space allows. On crowded wheels, shorten the labels or split the list so each slice stays easy to read.
